For the 2010 Swim Season there will be a new team swimsuit (our previous suit is being retired by the manufacturer) and a new supplier.  This suit is a 2-year suit so we will use it for the 2011 season as well.

The girls' suit will be the Tyr Shockwave Diamondback and the boys' suit will be the matching Tyr Shockwave Splice Jammer

How much do the suits cost?

Girls' suits

• $37.80 for youths sizes (28 and below)
• $39.00 for sizes 30 and up.

 

Boys' suits

• $25.20 for youths sizes (28 and below)
• $26.40 for sizes 30 and up

 

How do the suits fit?

These are competition suits so they will fit differently than a regular bathing suit (more snug). It is best to try the suits on to determine your correct size. 

Also, please do not buy larger than you need with plans to let the kids grow into the suits. These suits will be baggy if you do so and end up causing issues - especially during practices and races.

 

When will suit fittings occur?

The team will have fittings during practice times for the entire week of practice from Monday, May 10th, through Friday, May 14th.

How do I purchase?

Two options:

A) The Booster Club will be doing a group purchase. If you would like to participate,  please place your order during the fittings mentioned above. For this option you will need to write a check payable to the Roswell Rapids Booster Club for your purchase amount. The booster club will notify you when the suits have arrived and are ready for pick-up.

B) You may purchase the suit yourself directly through our new online booster club website. Look for the Girls Suits and Boys Suits links at the bottom of the page The Tyr Shockwave suits should show up when you click on those links (if you see a different suit name you are in the wrong place). Shipping is free for orders over $75, and the site accepts credit cards. We highly recommend that your swimmers try on the suits before ordering.
